The Gene Ontology dataset is a biological ontology for gene function hierarchy, containing RDF triples converted into the HuggingFace dataset format. It includes approximately 44K GO concepts and 853K triples for gene function annotation in the biological ontology. The dataset uses a standard lossless format for representing RDF data, suitable for machine learning pipelines and can be applied to tasks like knowledge graph completion, link prediction, entity embedding, relation extraction, and graph neural networks.
