DP Radio Protection Pathway (OpenData)

This entity represents radio pathways needed to maintain communication in an emergency as well as day to day operations for Police, Fire and Emergency New Zealand, St John and Civil Defence. Buildings, structures, utilities and trees intercepting the communication pathways may have a measurable impact on radio communication that may cause disruption and contribute to unacceptable outcomes including implications for life and property. Provisions are proposed in the District Plan for managing potential intrusions into the pathways based on height limits. It is spatially abstracted to an Area.
