Future teachers' perceptions of conversational agents in higher education

This is a set of quantitative and qualitative data concerning Future Teachers’ perceptions of conversational agents in higher education.

Data were collected using a structured online questionnaire, which assessed scales of knowledge, willingness to use, concerns, and the perceived benefits and challenges of AI technologies such as ChatGPT. The questionnaire comprises eighteen items based on a five-point Likert scale (ranging from strongly agree to strongly disagree), divided into three (3) subscales, two (2) open-ended questions to gain a deeper understanding of their perceptions and some demographics.
