This is a collection on French films and cinema between the years of 1980-2005. This collection came about as part of an ARC grant that looked at the French Film Industry between the years of 1980 to 2005. The research that was undertaken for the grant was placed into the Bonza database in the form of person records and film records. An essay on the state of the French film industry was contributed to the database as well. The database contains hundreds of productions and thousands of people linked to the productions as cast or crew. The research work for the project was undertaken by Professor Colin Nettlebeck of the University of Melbourne and Kate Ravenscroft.
