Gene sequencing of taste bud tissue in rat tongue epithelium

Purposes: To investigate the effect of periodontitis on taste sensitivity through RNA sequencing Methods: Three chronic periodontitis rats and non-periodontitis rats were selected for circumvallate papilla, and RNA sequencing was performed on Illumina NexSeq Results: If P = 0.05, fold change = 1.5 as the cut off, 21 differential genes were up-regulated and 74 were down-regulated? KEGG analyzed 4 up-regulated and 8 down-regulated expression pathways. Conclusion: There were 21 up-regulated differential genes and 74 down-regulated differential genes in rat circumvallate papilla tissue samples.
