流行性感冒（简称流感）是流感病毒引起的急性呼吸道感染，也是一种传染性强、传播速度快的疾病。其主要通过空气中的飞沫、人与人之间的接触或与被污染物品的接触传播。典型的临床症状是：急起高热、全身疼痛、显著乏力和轻度呼吸道症状。一般秋冬季节是其高发期，所引起的并发症和死亡现象非常严重。
本数据库收集了自2004年传染病网络直报以来报告的全部数据，主要内容包括按地区、年龄性别、职业、病种分别统计的发病人数、发病率、死亡人数、死亡率等统计汇总数据及相关原始个案数据。

Influenza (hereinafter referred to as flu) is an acute respiratory infection caused by influenza viruses, and it is also a highly contagious disease with rapid transmission. It mainly spreads through airborne droplets, close contact between people, or contact with contaminated articles. Typical clinical symptoms include sudden high fever, generalized pain, marked fatigue, and mild respiratory symptoms. It generally peaks in autumn and winter, and the complications and deaths caused by it are extremely severe. This database collects all reported data since the launch of the national web-based direct reporting system for notifiable infectious diseases in 2004. Its main contents include aggregated statistical data such as the number of incident cases, incidence rate, number of deaths, and mortality rate stratified by region, age and gender, occupation, and type of disease, as well as relevant original individual case data.
