资源简介:
The eastern Bering Sea bottom trawl survey has been conducted annually since 1975 by the National Marine Fisheries Service's Alaska Fisheries Science Center's Resource Assessment and Conservation Engineering Division. The purpose of this survey is to collect data on the distribution and abundance of crab and groundfish resources in the eastern Bering Sea. These data are used to estimate population abundances for the management of commercially important species in the region. In 2009, 376 standard stations were sampled and an additional 12 stations were resampled in Bristol Bay at the end of the standard survey to adequately account for female red crab maturity. by E.A. Chilton, C.E. Armistead, and R. J. Foy. "October 2009." Also available online in PDF. Includes bibliographical references (p. 17-18).
