资源简介:
Interference and diffraction fringes are formed as a result of the wave nature of light. The wave nature of light leads to uncertainty in the path a photon takes and enigmatic double-slit interference phenomena, thereby impacting the development of fundamental physics. To demonstrate that light interference and diffraction fringes are not formed by waves, this paper records dynamic videos of the light and dark fringes generated by moving a baffle positioned between the slit and the light source from the top to the bottom of this slit. Based on this video, it is proposed that the interference and diffraction fringes are formed by the direct cross-projection of light. Herein, we show that when moved with the baffle, flat-slit interference results in the fringes first weakening from the top and the bottom edges of the screen toward the center line, after which weaker fringes disappear in succession from the center line of the screen toward the top and bottom edges. This reveals that light subjected to double-beam interference does not have wave properties, solving the mystery of double-slit interference fringe formation. Meanwhile, the single-slit diffraction fringes disappeared one by one from the bottom to the top of the screen. Therefore, diffraction does not exhibit wave properties, revealing that the nature of light is particle-based. This promotes the further development of optics and theoretical physics, allowing for the determination of the path of light, which advances the development of quantum mechanics.
