资源简介:
Musk is a dried secretion from the abdominal sacs of adult male musk deer, horse musk deer, and red musk deer, among other deer species. It possesses therapeutic effects such as opening orifices, invigorating the mind, promoting blood circulation, relieving menstruation, reducing swelling, and alleviating pain. Muskone, the primary active component of musk, has been shown to exhibit significant antioxidant effects, effectively mitigating the progression of cardiovascular diseases. However, due to the complex composition of musk, the protective role of its main component, muskone, against oxidative damage in HUVECs (human umbilical vein endothelial cells) and its underlying mechanisms remain incompletely elucidated. Therefore, this study aims to establish an endothelial cell injury model by inducing HUVECs damage with H2O2, investigating the impact of muskone on oxidative stress-induced damage in HUVECs and its potential mechanisms. This dataset includes a mechanistic validation section, which may provide new scientific evidence for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
