Microbiomes of soil buried under burial mound (500 B.C.) and current surface soil

Investigation of shifts in the soil microbiome structure under long-term burial conditions (2500 years). Adjacent surface soil the same soil type was taken for comparison. The goal of the study is assessment of microbiome data applicability for reconstruction of environmental conditions at the time of burial mound formation.
