These are copies belonging to Mr Percy Allan, Secretary of the Treasury, of papers submitted and used in formulating the State Government Budget for 1986/87. They include separate folders for each department and agency containing estimates for the 1986-87 financial year, and revised estimates for 1985-86, for each departmental branch and activity. These estimates are analysed and tabulated under salaries, equipment and plant, grants, other services etc. Also included are correspondence, submissions and some minutes of meetings. Other folders in the series contain material on Capital Works, budget overview and allocation correspondence, Consolidated Fund recurrent allocation letters, Revenue, Recurrent Budget, press cuttings, Budget outline, Format and content and preparation.
