Dataset for the article titled "Parameterization of Surface Layer Processes under Stable Conditions over Mountainous Regions in a Numerical Weather Prediction Model"
收藏资源简介:
Dataset Structure Description The data are provided in a single compressed archive (ZIP) containing four folders/files representing model experiments and observations. 1. Default (CNTL Simulation) This directory contains data from the control configuration of the model. Variables represent surface layer exchange processes and near-surface meteorology: Sensible Heat Flux (SHF) Latent Heat Flux (LHF) 2-m Air Temperature (T2) Momentum transfer coefficient (CD) Heat transfer coefficient (CH) 10-m wind (U10) Friction velocity (u*) Representative of stability parameter (1/L) This dataset serves as the baseline simulation for comparison with sensitivity experiments (default configuration of the WRF model). 2. Exp1 (Experiment 1) This directory contains output produced using the first modified surface layer physics configuration. Included variables: SHF, LHF T2 CD, CH U10 u* 1/L 3. Exp2 (Experiment 2) This directory contains output from the second modified physics configuration. Included variables: SHF, LHF T2 CD, CH U10 u* 1/L These above datasets; Default, Exp1, and Exp2, correspond to Figure 2 to Figure 5 in the manuscript. 4. Observed Data Flux_Obs_Nov2024_Oct2025.xlsx This file contains observational measurements from the Ranichauri flux tower covering the full analysis period. The variables correspond to model quantities as follows: H → Sensible Heat Flux (SHF) u* → Friction velocity T_2 → Air temperature at 2 m height U_27 → Wind speed at 27 m height This dataset corresponds to Figure 6 in the manuscript.
