Dataset for the manuscript: Microbial Nitrogen Pathways Reshape the Ocean's Nitrogen-Carbon Link Across Oligotrophic to High-Nutrient Gyres

This dataset contains all the source data and supplementary data files supporting the research article entitled “Microbial Nitrogen Pathways Reshape the Ocean’s Nitrogen-Carbon Link Across Oligotrophic to High-Nutrient Gyres”, submitted to Global Biogeochemical Cycles. The dataset comprises the following files: Supplementary data_Liu et al_2025: This Microsoft Excel workbook contains the source data for Figures 1-8 of the associated article. Worksheets include: NPP, NH4+ and urea oxidation and NO3-, NH4+ and Urea uptake rates (in-situ measured and calculated rates), nutrients concentrations (ammonium, urea, nitrate, nitrite), and CTD profiles (temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, PAR) Methods:The methodologies for data collection (e.g., ¹⁵N tracer experiments, CTD casts) and the subsequent statistical analyses are described in full in the Materials and Methods section of the associated article.
