De novo genome assembly of the endangered Burmese Eld's deer (Rucervus eldii thamin). Rucervus eldii thamin

The study was performed to establish the reference genome of Burmese Eld's deer (Rucervus eldii thamin) which is characterized as an endangered species. This genetic resource provides insights in the genetic features and interesting characteristics of this species and will become a valuable database in the future studies by comparing with the study of Siamese Eld's deer genome.
