Gene expression after low dose irradiation in pluripotent stem cells developing to retinal ganglion cells

The effects of low dose irradiation on the gene expression on the neural cell development using human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPS cells). We irradiated 30 and 180 mGy of radiation on hiPS cells between day 4 and 5 of differentiation to determine alteration of genome-wide gene expressions on day 6, 10, 17 and 35 of development. Activated and inactivated canonical pathways were identified by ingenuity pathway analysis and upstream molecules, diseases and functions were predicted.
