The dataset consists of data from a repeated one-year experiment (2011/2012 and 2012/2013) under organic management with conventional versus reduced tillage and three different kinds of cover crops plus bare fallow as a control. The measured parameters are associated with cover crop yield, weed emergence, mineralized nitrogen, and yield of main crop oats. The site was the experimental farm of University of Kassel, Domaene Frankenhausen. Soil type was a Haplic Luvisol.
