Stability of self-standards

The project concerns stability of four types of self-standards: the ideal self, the ought self, the undesired self and the forbidden self. It takes into account two aspects of stability: (a) changes in the content of attributes used to describe each of the four self-standards, (b) the stability of beliefs related to actualization (ACT) and attainability (ATB) of those standards.

The project is composed of three independent studies:
Study 1: N = 64, aged between 19 and 31 (M = 21.78, SD = 1.87);
Study 2, subsample 1: N = 88, aged between 19 and 55 (M = 33.40, SD = 11.72);
Study 2, subsample 2: N = 58, aged between 14 and 15 (M = 14.60, SD = 0.49);
Study 3: N = 41, aged between 59 and 89 (M = 74.46, SD = 8.23);
