Characterization and analysis of the full-length transcriptomes of Frankliniella occidentalis (Thysanoptera: Thripidae)

Western flower thrips is a worldwide pest. In this study, the RNA of eggs, first instar larvae, second instar larvae, prepupae, pupae and adults of western flower thrips reared with kidney bean pods were extracted, and then the same amount of RNA was mixed, full-length transcriptome was sequenced by PacBio platform, which contributes to the revelation of the transcriptional complexity of western flower thrips.
