资源简介:
Fully differential cross-sections of single ionization of He and Ne atoms are studied by linearly polarized extreme ultraviolet (XUV) photons in the energy ranging from 22.1 eV to 43.7 eV, using a reaction microscope. Photoelectron angular distributions and the β-asymmetry parameters for He 1s electrons are obtained. In addition, the asymmetry parameters β extracted from the angular distributions of Ne 2p electrons are obtained more accurately than previous experimental results. By comparing with different theoretical calculations, it is found that the present measurement is in good agreement with the Random Phase Approximation (RPA) calculation. The data related to the article "Asymmetry parameters in single ionization of He, Ne by XUV pulses" contains five text files, which are described below: (1) fully differential cross section of He and (2) fully differential cross section of Ne: The fully differential cross section of He and Ne, in the plane formed by the light polarization (y) and the light propagation direction (z), for events with the momentum | Px |< 0.1 a.u..(3) PAD-He: Angular distributions for 1s2 electron of the He atom with the photon energy range of 25.3–40.8 eV(4) PAD-Ne: Photoelectron angular distributions of Ne 2p ionization measured with the photon energy range from 22.1 to 43.7 eV.(5) The asymmetry parameters β for He 1s and Ne 2p electron: Asymmetry parameter β for He 1s2 electrons with incident photon energy ranging from 25.3 eV to 40.8 eV and asymmetry parameter β of Ne 2p6 electrons as a function of the photon energies from 22.1 to 43.7 eV.
