In this study, we identified dysregulation of key cell cycle regulators, including CDC20, CDC45, CDCA5, BUB1, and PLK1, in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) through comprehensive mRNA sequencing. To strengthen these findings, we performed validation using exome sequencing which supported these alteration at the genomic level, providing independent evidence of their involvement in PDAC pathogenesis. Together, these multi-omics approaches highlight the robust association of cell cycle regulator dysregulation with PDAC, reinforcing their potential utility as diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers as well as therapeutic targets.
