RNA-seq of phage infected Shewanella glacialimarina

This RNA-seq experiment targets transcriptome changes of Shewanella glacialimarina at a single time point post-phage infection by phage 1/4 to snapshot molecular responses. Goals include pinpointing differentially expressed host genes versus uninfected controls, such as upregulated stress pathways and downregulated metabolism for phage replication support.
