Data for: The ‘non-ideal’ victim: external factors influencing jury decision making in a mock trial

This dataset includes all of the collected data for the first study of this MbR project, The 'Non-Ideal Victim': Factors Influencing Perceptions of Sexual Abuse Victims. The data is stored in SPSS and was collected via Qualtrics survey software. One hundred and sixty participants took part in this online survey as mock jurors in a sexual assault scenario. They read a text vignette detailing a scenario between two strangers and were prompted to answer questions on what they had read. The dataset includes demographic information of the participants (age, gender, residence), responses to the IRMA and SMATA scales and responses to general questions about the vignette.
