The Australian Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS) is a national-scale marine observing infrastructure that provides discovery, access and download services for marine and climate data via the Australian Ocean Data Network (AODN). Operated by a consortium of multiple institutions with the University of Tasmania serving as its lead agency, all observational data collected under IMOS has undergone strict quality control and is permanently available for discovery, access and utilization. IMOS data is sourced from governments, universities, industries and other organizations, and supports marine research efforts.
