RNA-Seq of baboon kidney cortex biopsies [high sodium diet]
收藏资源简介:
Blood pressure and the kidney cortex transcriptome response to sodium diet challenge in female nonhuman primates Female baboons consumed a low sodium diet for 6 weeks followed by a high sodium diet for 6 weeks. Blood collections, continuous blood pressure collection by wireless telemetry, and ultrasound guided kidney biopsies were collected at the end of each diet. This study utilizes weighted gene coexpression network analysis to investigate underlying gene networks underlying blood pressure response to sodium in the female primate kidney cortex transcriptome. Establishing genetic networks involved in blood pressure response to sodium in baboon kidneys is essential for translating understanding of it’s role to human physiology and disease impacting women and for development of precision medicine.
