The dataset contains polygons (shapefile) of the sixteen fishing areas of Greece, based on the the Hellenic Statistical Authority categorization.
Prepared by [Institute of Marine Biological Resources and Inland Waters of the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research](https://www.hcmr.gr/) for use in the [i4SEA project](https://www.i4sea.eu/) stored in the IMAS-Fish (Kavadas et al., 2013).
