Wild crop relatives of Bangladesh

This study involves gathering and evaluating information related to crop wild relatives (CWR) of Bangladesh. Cultivated crops of Bangladesh were categorized and recorded according to FAO data (https://www.fao.org/faostat/en/#data) and Banglapedia (https://en.banglapedia.org/index.php/Crop). Data related to wild crop relatives of the cultivated crops were first collected from the Encyclopedia of Flora and Fauna of Bangladesh: Index Volume- Flora, including their habitat and distribution across Bangladesh Secondary information on these crops was collected from the records of the Bangladesh National Herbarium (BNH http://www.bnh.gov.bd/ ). From these records, district-level locality information, total accession numbers, and one representative herbarium sheet image from each species were also collected.
