This fileset includes data on the size, location, and amount of land-use in and around Canadian protected areas. My co-author on this data set is Jeremy Kerr. We use these data to complete an analysis of the influence of surrounding lands on conservation effectiveness of protected areas. The analysis is published as: Leroux & Kerr. 2013.
