CEWAF-exposed Florida pompano reproduction data for test ID-208: Spawn and Hatch & Reproductive Function Assays

This project was undertaken to evaluate the fecundity, fertility, hatch success and larval survival of fish (Florida pompano) upon exposure to chemically enhanced water accommodated fraction (CEWAF) of south Louisiana crude oil. Hence, fish were exposed to CEWAF in tanks for a specified period of time and evaluated in terms of percentage of eggs that were fertilized, the percentage of fertilized eggs that hatched and the percentage of survival. Protein content and reproductive steroid concentrations were also measured.
