Bovine rotavirus Raw sequence reads

In 2020, a calf diarrhea outbreak occurred at a cattle farm located in Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, China, fecal samples or anal swabs were collected from calves. The fecal samples were diluted with high glucose DMEM and centrifuged . The supernatant was collected and further centrifuged for subsequent identificationand by PCR. BRV positive samples were inoculated into MA104 cells to isolate the BRV DQ2020 strain. The isolated strains were then identified through indirect immunofluorescence and electron microscopy observation, PCR detection, and immunocolloidal gold strip analysis. The whole genome sequences were sequenced using Illumina sequencing. The isolated BRV DQ2020 strain is pathogenic, providing potential resources for the development of biological products for treating bovine rotavirus.
