They have been extracted from the Verwaltungsgebiete 1:250 000 (VG250) published by BKG, and contain data from 2020. This dataset covers Germany at the Kreise (districts) level. Data source Verwaltungsgebiete 1:250 000, © GeoBasis-DE / BKG (2020) Enhancements Added ISO 3166-3 codes. Simplify geometries to provide better performance across the services.
