This study developed a novel quantitative mass spectrometry imaging (Q-MSI) method for ganglioides. This was applied to study ganglisoside composition and diversity within both mosue brain tissues as well as human frontal cortex and midbrain tissues. Here the mass spectrometry imaging data (.imzML) format are provided.
