The Politics of Welfare Policy, 2006

The survey maps the involvement of organized interest groups in Norway prior to and during the general election campaign in 2005, with particular emphasis on poverty reduction and pension issues. The survey was conducted spring semester 2006 by Elin Haugsgjerd Allern the Department of Political Science, University of Oslo, and Jo Saglie at the Institute for Social Research, and was funded by the Norwegian Research Council. The purpose of this study was to gain knowledge of Norwegian organizations' commitment to the 2005 parliamentary elections, both generally and with regard to issues on pensions and poverty alleviation in Norway
