Gene expression profiles at the single-nucleus level of the antennae of wild-type and orco mutant Harpegnathos saltator

H. saltator orco mutant has a reduced number of cells in the antennae. We performed single-nucleus sequencing of the antennae and compared the mutant to the wild type to identify any differentially abundant cell types. Overall design: Nuclei were isolated from dissociated antennae of wild-type and orco mutant H. saltator ants by staining with Hoechst and FACS sorting stained particles. Nuclei were analyzed using snRNA-seq.
