Rock densities from deep well sonic logs in Central Italy

This dataset provides crustal rock densities computed from sonic log data (sonic-derived densities) from several deep wells in central Italy. Results based on these data are published in Montone and Mariucci (2020), where they are described in detail.

The file contains a data table with information for each density value: geographic coordinates of the well, lithostratigraphic group and its thickness, mean density and standard deviation, well ID in Montone and Mariucci (2020).
