<b>Endovascular Treatment Impact on Vision and Brain Perfusion: A Dataset for Vertebrobasilar Stenosis/Occlusion Patients</b>
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains clinical and imaging data from a prospective study investigating the impact of endovascular treatment on visual function and cerebral perfusion in patients with vertebrobasilar system stenosis or occlusion (VBASO). The study included 24 patients with symptomatic VBASO who underwent endovascular procedures, such as balloon angioplasty and stenting, aimed at improving posterior circulation perfusion. Visual function was assessed using the Octopus 900 perimeter, focusing on light sensitivity in various visual field regions, including ED (single eye's light sensitivity defect), HD (left/ right visual hemifield's light sensitivity defect), DD (diffuse defect of single eye), QD (light sensitivity defect of the quadrant with the highest defect of single eye). While cerebral perfusion was measured through cerebral circulation time (CCT) using digital subtraction angiography (DSA) analyzed via iFlow software including occipital and cerebellar CCT.The dataset provides detailed pre- and post-treatment visual function indicators and cerebral perfusion measurements, allowing researchers to explore the correlation between improvements in posterior circulation and visual function recovery. This information may offer valuable insights into the efficacy of endovascular treatment for VBASO and its potential to restore brain and visual function.
