These data and scripts are a part of the Cao et al. manuscript titled "Tree species richness promotes long-term increases of photosynthesis in global forests".
The data and scripts here can be used to generate main results and figures in the MS. It includes:
(1) The MATLAB scripts for analyzing the effect of species richness on photosynthesis trends using partial correlation and sequential regression methods:"A1_partial_corr.m" and "A1_sequential_regression.m", "allData.mat" as the input data.
(2) The matlab scripts to generate Figure 1, which include: "P1a_Linear_partial_Years_S.m", "P1a_sub.m", "P1b_pd_show.m", "P1c_bar_two_methods.m", "P1e_show.m", and "P1f_heatmap.m". The input data are "Data_for_P1a.mat", "Data_for_P1b.mat", "Data_for_P1c_a.csv", "Data_for_P1c_b.csv", "Data_for_P1e_effect.tif", "Data_for_P1e_sig.tif", and "Data_for_P1f.mat".
(3) The matlab scripts to generate Figure 2, which include: "P2a_MLR_heatmap.m", "P2b_SIF_sensitivity_to_S.m", and "P2c_bar_plot.m". The input data are "Data_for_P2a.mat", "Data_for_P2c_A1.csv", "Data_for_P2c_B1.csv", and "Data_for_P2c_C1.csv".
(4) The matlab scripts to generate Figure 3, which include: "P3a1_show.m", "P3a2_show.m", P3a3_show.m", "P3b1_scatter_S_SensiSM.m", "P3b2_scatter_S_LNC.m", "P3b3_scatter_S_LPC.m", "P3c1_Lat_profile.m", "P3c2_Lat_profile.m", and "P3c3_Lat_profile.m". The input data are "Data_for_P3a1_effectMap_mv15.tif", "Data_for_P3a1_pvalMap_mv15.tif", "Data_for_P3a2_effectMap_mv15.tif", "Data_for_P3a2_pvalMap_mv15.tif", "Data_for_P3a3_effectMap_mv15.tif", "Data_for_P3a3_pvalMap_mv15.tif", and "Data_for_P3b.mat".
(5) The matlab scripts to generate Figure 4, which include:"P4ab_accum_loss_map_z065.m". "Data_for_P4.mat" as the input data.
