中国微体古生物志--颗石藻纲（2019）

本书首次对我国近40余年来化石颗石藻类研究成果的初步归纳总结。全书包括四大部分，即颗石藻类生物学、化石颗石藻类实际应用、研究方法和系统分类描述。其中生物学部分，涵盖研究简史，生物学特征，颗石粒类型，生态分布，颗石藻类起源、发展、演化；实际应用部分，着重介绍颗石藻类化石在高分辨率地层划分与洲际对比的独特作用,同时综述了我国颗石藻类生物地层分布和化石带的定义；鉴于颗石藻类化石由方解石晶体构成的特殊性，在研究方法部分,我们全面介绍了样品采集、实验室分析处理、光学玻璃薄片制备,以及偏光显微镜的原理和使用方法；系统分类描述部分，将化石颗石藻类分为三大类：1.异型颗石类(heterococcoliths)，2.全型颗石类(holococcoliths)，3.超微石类(nannoliths)。本书详细描述了颗石颗石藻类化石95属286种(2亚种,1比较种,1新种，1新组合)，其中62属165种隶属于异型颗石类6目21科（8亚科）；3属3种隶属全型颗石类1科；22属103种隶属于超微石类1目11科；分类位置未定1科（1属2种）；以及分类位置未定7属（13种）。为了便于查考，本书详细列举国内外参考文献；同时附录拉-中、中-拉属种名称对照表，以及英-中颗石藻类常用词汇小辞典。
本书适合高等院校、科研院所和地质调查勘探部门的微体古生物工作者，尤其是从事颗石藻类生物地层与古环境研究的专家、学者和学生使用参考。

This book is the first preliminary summary of research achievements on fossil coccolithophores conducted in China over the past 40 years. The book is divided into four main parts: the biology of coccolithophores, practical applications of fossil coccolithophores, research methods, and systematic taxonomic descriptions.
The biology section covers the research history, biological characteristics, coccolith types, ecological distribution, as well as the origin, development and evolution of coccolithophores. The practical application section focuses on introducing the unique role of fossil coccolithophores in high-resolution stratigraphic division and intercontinental correlation, and also summarizes the biostratigraphic distribution of coccolithophores in China and the definitions of fossil biozones. Given the particularity that fossil coccolithophores are composed of calcite crystals, the research methods section comprehensively introduces sample collection, laboratory analytical processing, preparation of optical glass thin sections, as well as the principles and operating procedures of polarizing microscopes. The systematic taxonomic description section divides fossil coccolithophores into three major categories: 1. heterococcoliths, 2. holococcoliths, 3. nannoliths. This book provides detailed descriptions of 95 genera and 286 species (including 2 subspecies, 1 comparative species, 1 new species, and 1 new combination) of fossil coccolithophores: among them, 62 genera and 165 species belong to 6 orders, 21 families (including 8 subfamilies) of heterococcoliths; 3 genera and 3 species belong to 1 family of holococcoliths; 22 genera and 103 species belong to 1 order and 11 families of nannoliths; 1 family (1 genus, 2 species) with uncertain taxonomic position; and 7 genera (13 species) with uncertain taxonomic position. For the convenience of reference, the book includes detailed lists of domestic and foreign references, as well as appendices of Latin-Chinese and Chinese-Latin comparison tables of genus and species names, and an English-Chinese mini-dictionary of commonly used coccolithophore terminology.
This book is suitable as a reference for micropaleontologists working in colleges and universities, research institutes, and geological survey and exploration departments, especially experts, scholars and students engaged in research on coccolithophore biostratigraphy and paleoenvironment.
