Single cell RNA sequencing analysis for atherosclerotic aortas in Oasl1/Apoe WT and Oasl1/Apoe DKO mice

We have applied 10X single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) technique to examine the cell type specific transcriptomes of heterogeneous cell populations in atherosclerotic aortas isolated from Oasl1+/+Apoe-/- and Oasl1-/-Apoe-/- mice. Overall design: Single cell RNA sequencing analysis of the mouse atherosclerotic aortas. Aortic single cells were isolated from atherosclerotic aortic arch of Oasl1+/+Apoe-/- or Oasl1-/-Apoe-/- mice and were pooled (n=6, normal chow diet for 28 weeks). Total live aortic single cells were sorted by DAPI staining and subjected to characterization and further analysis of differentially expressed genes between two groups.
