资源简介:

The GESIS Panel.dbd Digital Behavioral Data Sample supports social science research by enabling the research community to collect linked survey and digital behavioral data. The panel facilitates analysis of individual behaviors and attitudes by providing integrated data collected across multiple research projects. Survey data are collected through several cross-sectional and longitudinal studies within the GESIS Panel.dbd. The target population includes adults residing in Germany at the time of recruiting who are able to participate in an online survey. Different sampling techniques were applied, including recruitment through advertisements on Meta platforms, piggyback sampling from representative studies, and sampling based on the German residents’ registry. Data collection is conducted using the CAWI mode. The initial recruitment period started in 2023, with the first wave also fielded in 2023. Subsequently, between four and six survey waves are conducted each year. The GESIS Panel.dbd questionnaires cover a wide range of topics, including longitudinal core modules on subjective well-being, political participation, attitudes and behavior, environment, personality and personal values, media usage, work, socio-demographic characteristics and children, attitudes towards refugees, and religion and spirituality. In addition to these core topics, the questionnaires also include instruments based on research proposals submitted through open calls, allowing for integration of various current and relevant subjects. Part of every survey for all respondents (except in the Recruitment Interview): AAPOR wave code; Participation, dichotomous; Date of field start; Date of field end; Questionnaire Assessment; Survey Situation; Paradata: Disposition Code; Page history; Last Page; Survey duration on seconds; Date/Time of survey start; Date/Time of last access; Absolute Time Stamp of survey start; Relative time stamps for each survey page Recruitment Survey: Most Important Problem (MIP); Economic Situation Germany; Economic Situation Respondent; Internet Use Device; Duration of Internet Use per device; Digital Skills: operational & navigational; Mobile Skills; Social Media Use; Privacy on the internet; Media trust; political interest; party identification; Classification Left Right; Satisfaction Democracy; Place of residence; Gender; Year of birth; Citizenship; Family and living situation; Educational degree; professional degree; employment situation; household size; number of children; Income; Questionnaire Assessment; Survey Situation; Survey Experience; Disposition Code; Survey Duration in Seconds; Start Time of the Survey (Absolute Timestamp); Start Time of the Survey (Date / Time); Date of Last Access; AAPOR-Code; Participation, Binary; Date of field start; Date of field end Experiments: The recruitment surveys in 2023 contained an experiment concerning the optimal layout of matrix/grid questions in CAWI questionnaires.
