FAIRsharing record for: SFI Policies and Guidance on Open Research
收藏资源简介:
This FAIRsharing record describes: Research Ireland was established on 1st August 2024, following an amalgamation of Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) and the Irish Research Council (IRC). Research Ireland policies are in development, but the organisation currently carries forward policies from its predecessor organisations. Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) is committed to Ireland’s goal of ensuring that all outputs resulting from publicly funded research are openly available. To this end, SFI endorses national and international best practice in Open Research, namely the National Framework on the Transition to an Open Research Environment and the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science. SFI has aligned its Open Access policy with the principles espoused by Plan S (cOAlition S), an initiative to make full and immediate Open Access to research publications a reality.
