Influence of potassium organomineral fertilizer on the microbiota of a sandy loam tropical soil

Soil fertility is crucial for plant growth and depends on various interacting physical, chemical, and biological factors. In agriculture, fertilizers are often used to improve low fertility soils, but their impact on soil microbes is not well understood, especially for fertilizers containing potassium. This study explored how potassium organomineral fertilizer affects soil bacterial and fungal communities compared to potassium chloride, a common fertilizer, in tropical humid regions.
