Telemedicine and access to health care: a systematic review and meta-analysis (2020–2025)

This deposit accompanies a dissertation programme on telemedicine as an organisational regime shaping access to care. It reports a systematic review and meta-analysis of empirical studies published in 2020–2025, focusing on measurable access-related outcomes across the patient care pathway (e.g., timeliness, missed appointments/no-show, and unmet need/forgone care). The synthesis emphasises outcome harmonisation, comparability constraints across settings and aggregation levels, and heterogeneity assessment under a random-effects framework. Files are intended for transparent reporting and reproducibility (manuscript draft and supplementary materials).
