Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at The Mill House Hotel, Kingham, Oxfordshire, August 2021

This collection comprises site images, spreadsheet data, and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation at the Mill House Hotel, Station Road, Kingham, Oxfordshire. The works were carried out in August 2021 by Worcestershire Archaeology. The evaluation comprised the excavation of 11 trenches. Archaeological features and deposits were limited to Trench 4, within the field to the west of the site and Trenches 9 and 10 within the grounds of the Mill House Hotel. Remains identified included two ditches, a preserved section of the 20th century mill leat, and an earthwork bank. No archaeological features or deposits associated with the medieval or post-medieval use of the mill were identified in any of the trenches.
