Gut microbiota changes in Penaeus monodon at reduced pH conditions and two feeding types (live feed versus pellet)

The goal of this study was to investigate the effect of reduced pH (7.3) compared to ambient pH (8.0) on the gut microbiota of Penaeus monodon female adults. Shrimps were subjected to 2x2 factorial design of pH treatment (pH 7.3 and 8.0) and feeding types (live feed versus pellet) of 40 days and their gut microbiota were compared at the end of the experiment.
