This dataset supports the manuscript entitled “Numerical investigation on the combustion characteristics of premixed NH₃–air flames using gliding arc plasma”. Ammonia (NH₃) is a carbon-free energy carrier with broad application prospects, but incomplete combustion can generate NOₓ and other pollutants. Recent studies have shown that gliding arc plasma can effectively reduce NO emissions.In this study, we propose a numerical model that couples plasma reactions with combustion reactions to analyse the effects of plasma on the combustion characteristics of NH₃–air flames and the mechanisms of NO formation and reduction.
