Der Beitrag stellt wissenschaftstheoretische und wissenschaftsethische Überlegungen zum Verhältnis von Psychotherapie (PT), Psychologie und Psychotherapiewissenschaft (PTW) an. Ausgangspunkt ist die Unklarheit darüber, ob PT als eigenständige Wissenschaft oder als Spezialisierung der Psychologie verstanden werden soll. Es wird argumentiert, dass PT keine Wissenschaft im engeren Sinn darstellt, sondern auf einer reflektierenden metatheoretischen Ebene durch eine eigene PTW ergänzt werden muss. Diese wird als externe, normative Perspektive vorgestellt, die eine systematische Auseinandersetzung mit der PT, mit den internen Theorien der PT-Schulen und mit den historischen, kulturellen und epistemologischen Grundlagen ermöglicht. Dabei wird das Spannungsfeld zwischen der Subjektorientierung der PT und den reduktiven Ansätzen der modernen Wissenschaften zum Thema. Der Beitrag plädiert für eine integrative Wissenschaftsarchitektur, in der PTW als eigenständige Disziplin agiert und die Psychologie sowie andere relevante Forschungsfelder in ein umfassendes metawissenschaftliches Rahmenwerk einbettet. This article presents theoretical and ethical considerations on the relationship between psychotherapy (PT), psychology and psychotherapy science (PTW). The starting point is the lack of clarity as to whether PT should be understood as an independent science or as a specialization of psychology. It is argued that PT is not a science in the narrower sense, but must be supplemented on a reflective metatheoretical level by its own PTW. This is presented as an external, normative perspective that enables a systematic examination of PT, the internal theories of the PT schools and the historical, cultural and epistemological foundations. In doing so, the tension between the subject orientation of PT and the reductive approaches of modern science becomes a topic. The article argues for an integrative scientific architecture in which PTW acts as an independent discipline and embeds psychology and other relevant fields of research in a comprehensive meta-scientific framework. Cet article présente des réflexions sur la théorie et l’éthique de la science concernant la relation entre la psychothérapie (PT), la psychologie et la science de la psychothérapie (SPT). Le point de départ de ces réflexions est l’incertitude quant au fait de comprendre ou non la PT comme science à part entière ou comme spécialisation de la psychologie. Des arguments sont apportés indiquant que la PT ne constitue pas une science au sens propre mais doit être complétée à un niveau métathéorique réflexif par une SPT propre. Cette dernière est présentée comme perspective normative externe qui permet une étude systématique de la PT, des théories internes des écoles de PT et des fondements historiques, culturels et épistémologiques. Ce faisant, la tension entre l’orientation vers le sujet de la PT et les approches réductrices des sciences modernes sont alors thématisées. Cet article plaide pour une structure scientifique inclusive dans laquelle la SPT agit comme discipline à part entière et intègre la psychologie ainsi que les autres champs de recherche probants dans un cadre méta-scientifique global. Questo articolo presenta considerazioni teoriche ed etiche sul rapporto tra psicoterapia (PT), psicologia e scienza della psicoterapia (PTW). Il punto di partenza è la mancanza di chiarezza sul fatto che la PT debba essere intesa come una scienza indipendente o come una specializzazione della psicologia. Si sostiene che la PT non è una scienza in senso stretto, ma deve essere integrata a livello metateorico riflessivo dalla propria PTW. Questa viene presentata come una prospettiva esterna e normativa che consente un esame sistematico della PT, delle teorie interne delle scuole di PT e dei fondamenti storici, culturali ed epistemologici. Viene affrontata la tensione tra l’orientamento al soggetto della PT e gli approcci riduttivi della scienza moderna. L’articolo sostiene un’architettura scientifica integrativa in cui la PTW agisce come disciplina indipendente e inserisce la psicologia e altri campi di ricerca rilevanti in un quadro metascientifico completo. reviewed publishedVersion
