资源简介:
The MICROMEGAS instrument containing low-cost electrochemical gas sensors was deployed at different sites and onboard various platforms in Fairbanks, Alaska, during the Alaskan Layered Pollution And Chemical Analysis (ALPACA) 2022 field study in January-February 2022 to document the surface and vertical distributions of trace gases (Carbon monoxide (CO), ozone (O3), nitric oxide (NO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2)) in Fairbanks and its surroundings. MICROMEGAS data coincident with reference analysers measurements at the Community and Technical College (CTC) of the University of Alaska, Fairbanks (UAF) (64.841°North (N), 147.727°West (W); 136 meters (m) above sea level), in downtown Fairbanks were used to develop and apply data Machine Learning calibration methods. On-road mobile measurements were performed in Fairbanks and its surroundings to document the surface distribution of the target trace gases. MICROMEGAS was also deployed onboard a tethered balloon at the UAF-Farm (UAFF) site at the North-western edge of Fairbanks (64.853°N, 147.859°W, 138 m above sea level) to measure vertical profiles of those pollutants in the Arctic Boundary Layer .
