To enhance traffic management efficiency and emergency response capabilities, and advance the development of smart transportation, a low-altitude infrared photography dataset for the Jiangsu section of the G4221 Expressway has been established.
This dataset is collected through regular photography and data acquisition on the Jiangsu section of the expressway using low-altitude flying platforms equipped with infrared cameras. It covers multi-dimensional information including road facilities, traffic flow, and surrounding environment, and boasts advantages such as high resolution, wide coverage, and all-weather monitoring.
The dataset aims to provide precise data support for traffic management authorities, facilitating traffic flow monitoring and analysis to optimize road resource allocation; assisting in road facility inspection and maintenance to extend their service lifespan; supporting emergency rescue and accident handling to improve rescue efficiency and the accuracy of accident investigation; monitoring traffic violations to standardize driving order; and carrying out meteorological and environmental monitoring to ensure travel safety and ecological environment protection.
In the future, this dataset will continuously expand its application fields, provide strong data support for the development of smart transportation, and push expressway management towards a new stage of intelligence and refinement.
