The purpose of the evaluation study Analysis of the needs, conditions and possibilities of compulsory inclusion of children in one of the early childhood education (ECE) programmes from the perspective of reducing social, economic and cultural inequalities is to analyse the implementation of ECE programmes for children who are not enrolled in other ECE programmes before enrolment in school, to analyse the experiences of different stakeholders in education with regard to the participation of children in short programmes in terms of reducing social, economic and cultural inequalities, to prepare proposals for improving existing short programmes based on the analyses, to identify the conditions and options in the case of compulsory inclusion of children in each type of ECE programme. The aim was also to identify the vertical links between the ECE system and the primary education system, to provide expert background and orientations for educational policy in the context of the possible introduction of compulsory inclusion of children in one of the ECE programmes from the perspective of reducing social, cultural and economic inequalities, and to make proposals for further training of ECE teachers and other staff directly related to the topic of the evaluation study.The report for this study is available here ES_glavno_porocilo4_cistopis.pdf (gov.si)<br>The database is in Slovenian language. Instruments included are questionnaires for ECE teachers, ECE counsellors, ECE management staff, Primary education teachers, Primary education counsellors and Primary education management staff.
