Aim of this study is to elucidate the anti-inflammatory mechanism of cold atmospheric plasma (CAP). Human monocytic leukemia cell line THP-1 was stimulated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) from Porphyromonas gingivalis, known as one of the pathogens of periodontal disease, and treated with CAP. RNA sample was extracted after 3-24 h following CAP treatment and analyzed by RNA-sequencing.
